Cathy Gemis

Before joining Signum, Cathy spent over 15 years in senior HR roles, focusing on leadership development, corporate culture, and outsourcing & digitalization projects. Over the course of her career she studied the delicate dance between humans and the sometimes rigid corporate environment they have to perform in — and the many repercussions when that balance is off.

Seeing so many capable people struggle in their jobs and not finding professional fulfilment, drove her to specialize in human behavior and develop methods that help organizations become places that people actually want to work at. For more than 25 years now, she has witnessed up close how the success of an organization is directly tied to the happiness of its people. And perhaps more importantly, she knows like no other how an organization can turn things around when needed.

When Cathy joined Signum as a co-owner a decade ago, her expertise on the complexity of human behavior has proven to be game-changing to the success of the organizations she consults. She shines a light on the importance of the emotional and subconscious factors that influence the day-to-day work environment, helping countless leaders make informed, wise choices that consider the long-term well-being of everyone involved.

As an owner-advisor, assessor, facilitator, mentor, and trainer, she is relentless in driving change for her clients — but always with empathy, warmth and consideration.
